Jade looked at her blinking a few times and smiled again. ‘sorry I didn’t know.” he stated nonchalantly. Dist pulled himself together and glared at Jade with a huff but then paused, wait this girl was defending him?! But why? He blushed a little and looked away. “hah hah, yea Jade is mean, but I’m sturdy.” he looked a little embarrassed.

"Geeze I think I have my work cut out for me." -_-; Kaili muttered and shook her head, "So are we going to eat soon or what?" She chuckled and placed her hands behind her head.

“Yes that’s why I came to find you, err least the other reason.” Dist fidgeted and gave a nod waving for them to fallow him. Jade just shrugged and fallowed the white haired man. He let them to the dining room where some plates of various dishes were set out. “whatever you like.” Peony grinned looking to there guest. Dist also sat, as did Jade, who smirked faintly, as his favorite dish of Rice and curry.

"So... Is it just you guys?" Kaili asked before she stuck her utensil into the food and took a bite. Owo She grinned, she hadn't had food this good since she left home which was differently saying something because she wasn't exactly a bad cook. She just didn't have the funds or the room toe actually make dinner.

“Pretty much, Life in here is kind of plain and boring.” Peony smirked then took a bite. Dist sighed. He was lucky they didn’t leave him in prison, even if he hated Peony for ‘Changing’ Jade. Jade wiped his mouth and kind of just looked off into the distance. “so by all means your welcome here, any friend of Jade’s is a friend of mine.” Peony laughed. Dist took a bite of hsi veggies and made a face.

"Ok." Kaili blushed slightly and rubbed the back of her neck as she ate, "So... You guys are all single.. And in your early/late 30s right?" She asked with raised eyebrows, "Just curious." she grinned a little as she ate and looked over at Dist, "What's wrong? Don't like veggies?"

Jade looked over at her, some might think she was rude, however he thought she was amusing, he didn’t have to harass the others at the moment, and got to watch. As Dist looked up pink skinned, and Peony blinked a few times then blasted out laughing. “Yes its true, so sad, but true.” he giggled. “two geniuses, and a emperor…none of us have to much luck.” he smirked. And Dist looked up again and smiled fakely. “not brusslesprouts.” he chuckled.

"Sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone if I did." Kaili grinned weakly, "I'm just trying to get things straightened out." ^^; She looked over at Dist, "Aw here I've got carrots." She held her plate out towards him.

“haha no its fine.” Peony waved a hand. Jade smirked and pushed his glasses up, but then paused, smile fading he pulled his glass a little closer and looked at its reflection. his eyes seemed to shimmer. It was blood lust, he felt it like a thick aura around him, since Jade often had the feeling himself, he knew it anywhere.
Dist was busy looking at Kaili and blushed again. “R-right” he nodded and took one or two, there were more on the table, but she offered, he didn’t know what to do when flustered.
Peony was happy choking down and watched Dist, finding ways to make fun of him later. He was happy to have more liveliness around.
Jade calmly took another bite then glanced over at Kaili was this…blood thirst coming off her!? He looked back down.

Kaili smiled at Dist and dropped a few more carrots on his plate before she ate some more of her own food and then looked over at Jade, he looked... Nervous? Maybe, she wasn't entirely sure, "Jade? You ok?" She asked quietly.
